In
this event, 2 players compete as a team but aren't
necessarily playing together. Your partner will be drawn at random after
the round.
Pick
your own tee time and play your entire round, holing out on every hole.
The league chairman will match your scores with your drawn partner to
determine the
lowest net score of the 2 players on each hole. The net score for a hole
is determined by subtracting any strokes that the player
receives (based on handicap allowance) from the players actual
score.
How do I know what holes I get strokes on? (Click Here).
Handicap
allowance is 90% of Course Handicap. If a team has a handicap
difference of more than eight strokes then 80% of course handicaps are
to be used.
The
above is per
USGA handicap manual Sec 9-4(b)(ii).
| At a minimum, score

|
| * If one member of the 2-man team picks up before completing the
hole because their partner has a better score, the player who picked
up must record a reasonable estimate of the score they would have
recorded had they completed the hole. See
