This year the match play event will be conducted on somewhat the same format as an USGA amateur event. If the number of players signing up exceed 32 players, the first round on May 10^th will be a stroke play qualifying event, with the low 32 net scores advancing to match play. (ties for the last place will settled by scorecard playoff).

If less than 32 sign up then the 1^st round of matches will begin on May 10^th and there will be no qualifying round.

To participate in the match play event sign up in the proshop and pay $10 entrance fee. To be eligible for match play event you must pay entrance fee prior to May 10th.

If more than 32 sign up for the match play event, participants will play the regular event on May 10th as well as the low 32 net scores will qualify for match play.

If less than 32 sign up the 1^st matches will begin on May 10^th and only those not in the match play event will play low net.

You are not eligible to play in the other scheduled event.

The higher handicap player receives the full difference between course handicaps of the two players: the lower handicap player plays from scratch. Example: A player with a course handicap of 17 shall receive four strokes from a player with a course handicap of 13. He receives them on the holes allocated as the first four handicap stroke holes.

How to Decide Ties: Ties will be decided by a chip off overseen by a member of the Pro Shop. However, if the players agree at the start of the round and the Pro shop agrees to let you continue play ties can be played off hole by hole until one player wins a hole.

The winning player should please enter the result on the bulletin board after play.
