NOTES:
-
All players will be assigned to a flight based on USGA
handicap index.
- The flights will be divided into 2 groups (lower handicaps and higher
handicaps) to play the course in a
crossover fashion using all 3 nines.
- The player with the LOWEST GROSS score from the grouping of the lower
flights, regardless of which flight he is playing in, will be
declared the Club Champion. ^The Club Champion will be
determined after the players with the top 3 gross scores (and all
ties + anyone within 3 strokes of the leader) after 36 holes play a
final 9 holes. Low gross at the end of 45 holes is declared
Club Champion.
- The SENIOR player with the LOWEST GROSS score
from the grouping of the lower flights, regardless of which flight
he is playing in, will be declared the Senior Club Champion.
Senior players are those who have reached their 55th birthday BEFORE
the first day of the tournament.
- Players may ask to be moved from the higher flight grouping to the lower flight
grouping if they wish to compete
for the Club Champion or Senior Club Champion titles. Their
handicap will be adjusted to match the flight they are moved to.
- The Club Champion and Senior Club Champion will receive a separate
payout and their scores will not count in their flights.
- Winners of each flight will be determined by the
NET scores of the
players.
- Club Champion, Senior Club Champion and all flight winners automatically qualify for the Tournament of
Champions.
- This event is considered one of our "Major" events and the scores will be
entered into the GHIN Handicapping system as a "T" (tournament)
score.
