FOX HOLLOW JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM 2008

For 2008, Fox Hollow will continue to offer several options for the area's junior golfers.  The popular 9-hole Junior League will continue to run on Tuesday mornings.  The 18-hole Junior League will also run on Tuesday mornings.  For the junior golfers not quite ready for weekly league play, Fox Hollow will offer a Thursday Clinic geared more toward instruction and less toward on-course play.  And as always, individual junior lessons will be available.

               

TUESDAY 18 HOLE LEAGUE

The Tuesday morning 18-hole league will run for 8
sessions, starting on June 10 and running through
August 5.  This league is geared toward intermediate to experienced junior golfers who are comfortable with basic rules, etiquette and pace of play guidelines for a regulation-length golf course.  This is an on-course golf league and will not include instruction.  Different events  will be held each week, letting league members experience a variety of golf formats.

Thursday morning is the time for golf instruction.  For the junior golfers not quite ready to tackle a weekly golf league, the Thursday group clinics will be the perfect fit.  This program will spend four sessions on the practice range and putting green, and the final session will offer a taste of the golf course in a fun event.  The instructional sessions will start with the pre-swing basics and proceed through the short game, the full swing and everything in between.  The final session will be an on-course event with tips on course etiquette and the rules of golf, followed by a chance to play the course.

The Tuesday morning 9-hole league will run on the same dates as the 18-hole league.  This league is geared toward junior golfers who are ready for the 9-hole events on a regulation-length golf course.  Individual and team events will expose league members to a variety of games within the game.  Course etiquette, the rules of golf, and general course information will be reviewed at the start of the league.  This is an on-course golf league and will not include instruction.
